Phosphate Fertilizer for Cannabis Farming
When your cannabis plant is beginning to flower, it is recommended that you switch to a phosphorus-focused fertilizer. A phosphate fertilizer will help boost the yield and health of your cannabis buds. Soil testing is key to organic agriculture, and it is recommended that your growing medium for cannabis has approximately 30 ppm of phosphorus. Our agronomists have concluded that our phosphate fertilizer is the most effective in acidic soils, but it can work just as well in basic soils when combined with sulfur and humate to adjust pH.
Methods of Cannabis Fertilizer Application
Whether you are growing cannabis in soil, hydroponically, or in coconut coir, Fertoz has an organic fertilizer to suit your needs. Soil is the most forgiving medium to grow cannabis in because soil is its own ecosystem with buffers that can reduce the risk of fertilizer burn. When adding fertilizer for cannabis in hydroponic and coconut coir growing mediums, it is best to be reserved, as there is little to buffer the solution if you add too much.
Improving Organic Fertilizer Supply for Cannabis
A lack of nutritional analysis and effective supply chain infrastructure is what prompted the founders of Fertoz to amend the way organic fertilizers are manufactured, marketed, and sold to cannabis farmers. We put our focus on finding a source of rock-phosphate containing high levels of available phosphorus while remaining logistically near trucking and rail lines so that we can easily supply the organic cannabis farming markets. We are not a company who inflates the value of our product; rather, we rely on the testing and research of our agronomists combined with feedback from the people who use our fertilizer.
