Improve Your Row Crop Farming
Row crops are the most common type of crop farming. They are easily harvested with machines, which reduces labor costs, and they do not require the initial investment of permanent crops. Since the crops you are producing turns over with the seasons, this makes farming of row crops hard on the soil. On the bright side, an organic fertilizer coupled with other organic farming techniques can reduce soil depletion and create a stable ecosystem.
Effective Phosphate Crop Fertilizer
Phosphorus is a major nutrient for effective crop fertilization. Fertoz produces a fertilizer with a high amount of available phosphorus (the sum of the phosphorus soluble in water plus that which is soluble in a citrate solution) to promote soil fertility at organic farms. Our phosphate fertilizer can be used as a broadcast fertilizer application when sowing or throughout the growing season. If you are looking for a band placement crop fertilizer, ours will work for creating a fertilizer band in row crop operations. Our agronomists have found that our rock-phosphate works most effectively in acidic soils but can be combined with sulfur and humate when being used in basic soils.
Reforming Organic Fertilizer Supply
Fertoz put in the time and effort to research natural sources of rock-phosphate with ample available phosphorus. It turns out many mines fit this criterion, yet fell short on accessibility. We pushed on and eventually found rock-phosphate mines that had road access and were near freight rail and truck lines, allowing us to feed into organic agriculture markets. It is not our style to inflate the efficacy of our phosphate fertilizer. Instead, we prefer to back our claims with research, testing, and feedback from our organic farmers.
