In Recent History at Fernie
In July 2014, Fertoz received approval for a 10,000-ton extraction of bulk phosphate for the Fernie mining project. We harvested around 1,000 tons and drafted plans to extract more material utilizing the same bulk sample permit. Two years later, in the spring of 2016, we supplemented another 2,453 hectares to harvest direct application phosphate for Fernie. A report about Mt Lyne shows property’s potential for magnitude and phosphate grades that compare to Fertoz’s Crow’s Nest, Marten, and Barnes Lake properties. With this addition to the company’s existing Fernie project, the potential strike length of the phosphate-bearing horizon exceeds 25 kilometers.
