The Fernie sedimentary phosphate ore bodies extend into southeastern Alberta. These contain Lower Jurassic Fernie Formation phosphate. We filed for Permits (claims) and these were granted over a strike length of about 12km in Alberta for an area of >1,000ha. Road access is available along the entire 12km strike length. Grade of phosphate is similar to that found in BC with assays up to 25 percent P2O5. A permit for a bulk sample has been received for the northern claim. Prospecting and geological mapping is ongoing. Detailed permits are underway. As with all Fertoz ore resource holdings, the phosphate is high quality, low in metals and ideal as organic rock phosphate products. Alberta ore mining is expected to commence in Summer of 2019 and will be available to Western Canadian Producers.
